Electrical Supply
It is believed that some ghosts can feed off an electrical supply. This can cause power fluctuations where lights can dim or flicker. It has even been known for appliances to turn themselves on or off.
Battery Power
As it is believed that ghosts feed off of electricity, it goes without saying that batteries can too be affected. It has been known that on some paranormal investigations for battery devices to fail as the batteries are drained of all their energy. Exactly how a ghost can harness this energy is not yet known or understood.
Human Energy Field
The human brain is said to produce a lot of energy and it is believed that ghosts can harness this energy and help them go through the four stages of manifestation This maybe why some investigators appear to feint during an investigation – a ghost may have been harvesting energy from them and taking too much causing someone to feint? You people in particular seem to have a stronger bio-electric energy field than that of older people. This would explain why children under 10 years of age are more likely to see ghosts than older people.
Energy
As we all know, energy can be either positive or negative. A negative location seems to feed on negative energies so therefore ends up attracting negative paranormal phenomenon. The genius loci (feeling of a place) can become quite unpleasant and possibly even scary/frightening.
